First Surface Protected Aluminum Mirrors Description
The First Surface Protected Aluminum Mirrors we produce are high-precision optical components based on high-purity aluminum coating technology, specially designed for application scenarios that require wide-spectrum reflection, high reflectivity, low phase difference and long life.
- We directly coat the aluminum reflective film on the first surface of the optical glass substrate to eliminate the light loss and aberration caused by the substrate transmission, ensure direct reflection of light and achieve zero aberration.
- In addition, the aluminum material itself has a wide-spectrum reflection characteristic from ultraviolet to infrared. Combined with the optimized coating process, the reflectivity from ultraviolet to visible light, near infrared, mid-to-far infrared can be increased to more than 95%.
- And the filter layer can be covered with a protective layer such as SiO₂ and MgF₂ to maintain long-term stability of reflectivity.
- We can support a variety of flat designs such as circular and special-shaped, and there are a variety of substrate materials to choose from, such as K9, fused quartz, borosilicate glass and metal.
- In addition, we can also provide multi-band coatings at 250-20000nm for customers to choose

First Surface Protected Aluminum Mirrors Applications
First Surface Aluminum Mirror has important applications in many scenarios:
- Aluminum has a high wide-spectrum reflectivity in ultraviolet light, so it is often used in telescopes, microscopes, spectrometers, laser alignment and other systems to reduce phase difference and improve imaging accuracy
- In high-power laser cutting, industrial processing, welding and marking equipment, aluminum mirrors are often used as laser galvanometers. Aluminum mirrors can enhance high temperature resistance and laser damage threshold
- In vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) spectrometers, space detection equipment, low-temperature experiments and other equipment, aluminum mirrors are often used to withstand extreme temperatures and vacuum environments
- In consumer electronics such as projectors and augmented reality (AR) optical modules, aluminum mirrors can allow more complex optical path folding
