CWDM Communication Filters Description
CWDM Communication Filters supplied by Coligh is a high-performance filter, which is widely used in optical communication, data center and telecommunication network.
- CWDM filter has the working wavelength of O band (1260-1360nm) and C band (1460-1640nm), which can support a variety of optical communication needs, can efficiently combine and split optical signals, and improve the bandwidth utilization of telecommunication system.
- The isolation between adjacent channels is >30db, which improves the clarity of the signal and reduces the crosstalk of different channels. At the same time, the insertion loss in the passband is controlled within 0.35db, which reduces the signal loss during transmission.
- This filter has a center wavelength tolerance of ±1 nm, and the wavelength is selected with high precision to ensure the stability of the signal. The passband width ≥ ±7.3 nm can adapt to a variety of data needs and effectively ensure the transmission of high-frequency data.
- Back reflection isolation ≥ 13 dB can effectively prevent the signal from being reflected on the back of the filter. In addition, the reflection isolation is very low, ≤0.2%, which can reduce the error caused by reflection.

CWDM Communication Filters Applications
CWDM communication filters are suitable for multiple application scenarios such as optical communication, data center, metropolitan area network, 5G forwarding/returning, fiber optic sensing, etc. For example:
- In CWDM transmission system, optical signals of different wavelengths are transmitted on the same optical fiber to achieve large-capacity data transmission
- In data center interconnection and cloud computing, it is widely used for data center interconnection to achieve large-scale data transmission
- In 5G network deployment, CWDM can be used for fronthaul and backhaul transmission between base stations. CWDM communication filters can reduce interference between channels and allow high-quality signal transmission
- Suitable for fiber optic sensing systems in oil, gas and smart grid monitoring to improve network transmission efficiency
